Ant & Spider Control Sydney
We follow ant trails to the nest, treat spider harbourage, and seal the gaps they use to get in.

What to expect
We work from the outside in, because that is where most of the pressure starts.
- We follow the ant trailA line of ants on your bench is a map. We follow it to the nest, or as close as we can get without pulling up paving.
- We treat nest and perimeterBait goes to the colony. Residual treatment goes to eaves, skirting, and the gaps spiders use. Different pests, different spots.
- We close the easy entriesA can of spray from the supermarket kills what you see today. It does not stop tomorrow's trail. Sealing gaps and treating the source is what actually works.
- We set up seasonal coverSydney's warm months are peak season. A pre-summer perimeter treatment catches pressure before it reaches your kitchen.
“The technician explained exactly where the issue was coming from, treated it cleanly, and gave us a prevention plan we could actually follow.”

Why surface spray fails
Spraying the ants you can see does not touch the nest. The trail on your bench is just the commute. We follow it back to where the colony lives, usually under paving, in a garden bed, or in a wall cavity. Spiders are different. They do not have a nest to wipe out, but they do have favourite corners. Eaves, fence lines, and the gap behind your outdoor furniture. Sydney's warm summers push both pests hard from October through March.
Signs of ants and spiders
You usually notice the trail or the web before you find the pest itself. Check for these four.
A steady line along the sink, pantry shelf, or bin. Follow it. It leads somewhere.
Fine sand or dirt pushed out of cracks in paving or skirting. That is an ant nest vent.
Messy low webs under outdoor furniture or fence crevices suggest redbacks. Orb webs in the garden are usually harmless.
Turn on an outdoor light after dark. Insects gather, and spiders set up underneath. That is how they reach your eaves.
How to keep ants and spiders out
None of this needs a technician. Most indoor ant problems start with something left on the bench.
- Ants follow food, not dirt
- Spiders follow insects, not crumbs
- A sealed gap stops more than a spray
- Peak season in Sydney is October to March

Wipe benches every night
Even a drop of honey or a crumb trail is enough. Ants find it within hours.
Empty bins regularly
Kitchen and outdoor bins are the two biggest ant magnets in any Sydney home.
Fix dripping taps
Ants need water as much as food. A leaking outdoor tap keeps a colony going through summer.
Seal gaps around doors
Weather strips and silicone around frames close the gaps ants and spiders use to get in.
Brush webs down monthly
Spiders rebuild in the same spots. Regular brushing stops them settling in eaves and fence lines.
Move outdoor lights inward
Lights on the house attract insects to your walls. Lights away from the building draw pests away from entry points.
How ants and spiders are treated
We work from the outside in, because that is where most of the pressure starts.
We follow the ant trail

We treat nest and perimeter
Bait goes to the colony. Residual treatment goes to eaves, skirting, and the gaps spiders use. Different pests, different spots.
We close the easy entries
A can of spray from the supermarket kills what you see today. It does not stop tomorrow's trail. Sealing gaps and treating the source is what actually works.
We set up seasonal cover
Sydney's warm months are peak season. A pre-summer perimeter treatment catches pressure before it reaches your kitchen.
Who we treat for ants and spiders
Ants and spiders reach any property. These are the places we are called to most in Sydney.
- Garden-heavy blocks see the most spider pressure
- Apartments get ant trails from shared walls
- Schools and childcare need safe perimeter treatment
Not listed here? We treat ants and spiders in any Sydney property. Call 1300 160 325.
Homes and gardens
Houses and apartments where ants trail into kitchens and spiders set up in eaves and fences.
Strata and unit blocks
Ant colonies in shared garden beds send trails into multiple units at once.
Schools and childcare
Playgrounds and sandpits need careful treatment that keeps kids safe.
Offices and retail
Ant trails in staff kitchens and spider webs at entry points put customers off.
Why do ants keep coming inside?
They are following a food or water source. The trail on your bench connects to a nest somewhere outside, usually under paving or in a garden bed. Killing the visible ants does not stop the colony. You need to treat the nest or cut off what they are after.
How do I get rid of ants permanently?
Find the nest and treat it, or remove what is attracting them. Wiping benches, sealing bin lids, and fixing drips removes the reason they come in. A perimeter treatment before summer catches pressure before it reaches your kitchen.
Are redback spiders dangerous?
Redback bites are painful and can make you quite unwell, but deaths are extremely rare with modern treatment. They build low, messy webs under furniture, in fence crevices, and behind pots. Teach children not to reach into gaps they cannot see into.
Will spider treatment stop all spiders?
Treatment reduces spider numbers significantly, especially around eaves, fences, and outdoor areas. New spiders can arrive from neighbouring gardens. Regular web removal and a seasonal perimeter treatment keep pressure low through Sydney's warm months.
Can I treat ants myself?
Supermarket baits can work on small problems if you place them on the trail and leave them alone. The ants need to carry bait back to the nest. Spraying the trail kills workers but leaves the colony intact. Larger or recurring problems usually need professional nest treatment.
When is ant season in Sydney?
Activity ramps up from October as temperatures rise and peaks through summer. Rain after dry spells also pushes ants indoors looking for dry ground and food. A pre-summer treatment is the most effective time to set a barrier.
Why are there ants in my bathroom?
Bathrooms offer moisture and sometimes soap residue ants will feed on. Check for dripping taps, damp grout, and gaps around pipes where they enter from wall cavities or the garden outside.
Do spiders mean my house is dirty?
No. Spiders follow insects, not mess. Outdoor lights, garden beds, and eaves attract insects, which attract spiders. Regular web brushing and moving lights away from entry points make more difference than extra cleaning.
How long does ant treatment take to work?
Bait carried back to the nest usually shows results within a few days. You may see more ants briefly as they collect the bait. If trails are still active after two weeks, the nest may need a follow-up visit.

Found ants or a spider? Do this
Three things that help before we arrive.
Surface spray kills the ants you see and splits the colony. That makes the nest harder to find and treat properly.
A clear photo from a safe distance helps us confirm the species and choose the right approach.
Clean the surface, then watch where the next trail appears. That direction tells us where the nest likely is.
